Biante Collectors Club Newsletter. 27th March.

New Items Now Available.
Shipments from Kyosho, iXO, and Spark have all landed in the last few days. Some very exciting items were delivered by all three manufacturers and all are now available on the website in the 'Just Arrived' section.
New shipments.
A large shipment from Autoart will be arriving early next week. All items are listed in the website 'In Transit' section however some of the more popular items are the Steve McQueen Porsche 917K, Nissan 350Z, Chevrolet Corvette Manta Ray, and the Mercedes Benz G-Wagon 4X4. Please keep an eye on the website latest news section to know when the models become available.
Biante Collectors Club Dinner.
The Adelaide Collectors Club Dinner was a roaring success with everyone having a great time. A whole host of guests attended and spoke to our collectors from all ranges of Australian motoring. The guest speakers were:

There were many raffle prizes which included prototype models, autographed items, race car panels etc which were spread around and many people went home with something very special for their collections.
By all accounts everyone had a great time (including the guest speakers) and most people left by saying 'see you all next year'.
Our weekend was really topped off by walking into the tent which housed all of the Biante Historic Touring cars with all of them displaying their Biante model cars windscreen banners. All of the entrants are so excited about this years racing and put on a great show for the crowd on Sunday just before the main race.
If you are at any events in which the Biante Historics are competing be sure to pick a good spot and watch the racing. Go down and see the guys and girls in their pits and have a chat and a look at these great cars. They are one of the most popular and specatacular support races on the program and always put on a great show.
Special Biante 'Story so far' history program.
For a very long time one very hard working collector has been compiling a computerised 'book' that will cover the entire history of 1:18 Biante models from the Track Red XY GTHO right up to the end of 2002 with the Moffat twin set and plaque (in his own personal time). We have put this data onto a CD, and along with special packaging, we now have the starting point for compiling Biante's history.
Each model has it's own page with a picture of the model, certificate and all relevant information. Included on the disc is a short outline of how Biante started, the history behind the twin mirror XY GTHO promo model, and every brochure that has been produced for our 1:18 models.
It will be available on CD soon and updates will be available for 1:43, 1:64 and future 1:18 models as they are finalised. We are constantly asked questions such 'Which models came with brochures' and 'how many of this type of model was produced' etc and this CD will answer all of these questions and a whole lot more.
We hope it becomes an essential information tool for our collectors to refer to and update into what will become the entire history of all Biante models.
Price will be basically wholesale, like about $3.95, so best to include it in another order to save freight. We want you all to have one, hence the low price. Hope you like it. The item number will be BCAT1 and it will be in stock very soon.
Finishline Competition.
The first round of Finishline has been run and won with Ryan King winning on 117 points. Ambroses win on Saturday and Skaifes win on Sunday show that the Ford and Holden are closer than they have been for many years and we are in for a sensational season. Tipping wont be easy so make sure to be in every round for a chance at the major prize.
