Biante Collectors Club Newsletter 24th June 2008

Welcome once again to a busy week here at Biante.
On top of another brilliant list of releases from five manufacturers, this week the team at Biante are in the middle of another stock take so everything is full steam ahead at Biante headquarters.

Stock take

A quick reminder that because of the stock take the ordering system will be offline from midday Tuesday 24th June until 8am Thursday 26th June.
All releases that were scheduled for Wednesday are now set for Thursday at 2pm.

Bizarre

Bizarre have three fantastic 1:43 scale LeMans racers on offer and all of which are up to the usual high standard of detail that we have come to expect from this excellent company.

Kyosho

From Kyosho we have a list of performance cars that would take pride of place in any supercar collection.
Included is the re-tooled 1:43 scale V-spec R34 GT-R skyline that now feature an opening hood and extra details.

Two Ferrari's are ready to go, a 1:43 black 288 GTO following up on the red version released a few weeks ago and a 1:18 scale 328 GTS in the resplendent Ferrari red.

We then have in 1:18 scale, two of the devastatingly quick Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet's in red and silver. These are the soft top versions of the previously just released coupes.

Lastly for Kyosho is the striking John Cooper Works Challenge Mini Cooper in white.

Minichamps

For many collectors, Minichamps is providing the most anticipated releases this week with three of the hugely popular 1:12 scale Valentino Rossi bikes. One from each class is on offer, 125cc, 250cc and the MotoGP 2001 Honda pre-season test bike, which if the last Rossi test bike is anything to go by will be a very popular release indeed.

Ixo

Ixo is up next with four of their very affordable 1:12 bikes including two Rossi Yamaha M1's and Mick Doohan's 1998 Championship winning Honda.

And lastly for Ixo is the latest model in their Ferrari GP collection. The 1987 Japanese Grand Prix Winner driven by Gerhard Berger.

Spark

It's the legendary Porsche 962 for Spark this week with the champion Australian racer Vern Schuppan built 962 road car and the beautiful Momo sponsored 962C entry to the 1990 LeMans driven by Moretti, Adams and Gebhardt.

Finishline

After the Ferrari dominated French GP last weekend there is now a log jam of competitors at the top of the finishline ladder once again.
Stephen Duck still retains top spot but now with five other contestants taking up second and third place nipping at his heels.

3) - 23 points: Paul Vella and Simon Johnson
