Biante Collectors Club Newsletter 22nd April 2008

Here at Biante this week we have a very large list of Minichamps releases mainly consisting of 1:43 scale items including models covering nearly all categories from F1 to DTM to Rally, and of course the usual amount of stand out road cars.
We also have some great news for all the Australian collectors.

New Australian Models

Biante are proud to announce four new important Australian models in 1:18 scale.
For the Dick Johnson collectors we have two of his most meaningful race cars due for release this year. The FJ Holden from his debut race in 1964 and his awesome ATCC winning XD Falcon from the 1982 championship.

For the many Jim Richards and Nissan skyline fans we have another very long awaited R32 GTR. This one the Nissan factory car that dominated the 1991 ATCC with the revered Jim Richards behind the wheel.

The road car collectors are not forgotten either with the XB John Goss Special in the instantly recognisable green and white two-tone paint work.

Minichamps

The 1:18 releases this week include the Toleman-Hart TG184 driven by Johnny Cecotto in the 1984 championship. The year he partnered F1 newcomer Ayrton Senna.
There is also the Opel Omega driven by famous German touring car driver Klaus Niedzwiedz in the 1991 DTM. The interesting point with this car being it was sponsored by "Commodore" and Mobil1. A combination that many Australian collectors will relate to!

The 1:43 releases consist of some fantastic models that will cater to every type of collector out there. Next week is an important one for the Allan Moffat fans with the long awaited release of his 1974 ATCC "Brut 33" XB Falcon in 1:18 scale and the 1973 XA Bathurst Winner in 1:43 scale.
There is also the release of the recently added Carousel 1 models which include some stunning historic Indy 500 cars and World War 1 and 2 fighter planes.
