Biante Collectors Club Newsletter 25th March 2008

Welcome back from the Easter holiday. We hope you had a happy and safe break and haven't overloaded too much on the chocolate!
Once again we have another big week of releases here at Biante and some great news to share.

Biante Announce EB Falcon Plans

Biante are pleased to announce the addition of the Ford EB Falcon V8 Touring Car to its range of Australian Racing Cars.

The EB Falcon raced from late 1992 through to the end of 1994, taking a clean sweep in its last major event - the 1994 Bathurst 1000 with provisional pole, pole, fastest lap and the race win.

With the co-operation of Dick Johnson Racing, Glenn Seton Racing and Allan Moffat Racing, Biante have invested heavily in new tooling of the highest standard to produce the EB in 1:18 scale, with full opening parts and detailed race engine. All homologated versions of the EB will be represented across the range and all pieces will come with individually numbered, limited edition Certificates of Authenticity - with driver signatures where available.

Biante will be producing eleven examples of the EB Falcon in 1:18 scale:

BNA0001 - 1993 #18 John Bowe DJR ATCC
BNB0001 - 1994 #9 Andrew Miedecke/Jeff Allam Allan Moffat Cenovis Bathurst 1000

Be sure to check the Models Just Added section to add these items to your watchlist.

China is currently experiencing unprecedented demands on both their work force and manufacturing/shipping infrastructure. Couple this with the rising Chinese currency (RMB) which is at an all time high against the US$ we have been hit with price increases from our manufacturers which we can no longer hold off. The strength of the Australian dollar helps but with all areas experiencing growth that help is quickly offset. Beginning with these EB Falcons and some previously released Brock models we have had to implement a new pricing structure to cover the escalating manufacturing and licensing costs
