New Product Announcements
Last week Spark announced a range of new models that will become available towards the end of this year. These include three new 1:18 scale LeMans 24 hour models and seventeen new 1:43 models from various racing categories. Some of the standout models are the 2007 Audi R10 TDI which won the 2007 Lemans 24 hour event last July. This is the second year in a row Audi have won the race with a diesel powered car. This Weeks Releases
This week Biante will release new models from Spark, Red Line, IXO, BBR, ProDrive, Quartzo and Bizarre. Models from this weeks offerings are spread across a mixture of Road going sports cars, LeMans 24 hour racing cars and other road and rally cars. Please find details on exactly what is being released by each manufacture below.
Spark
Spark models being released this week consist of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place 2006 Lemans 24 hour finishers in 1:18 scale. The 2006 winner was from the Audi Sport team with their diesel powered Audi R10. This was the first time diesel powered cars had been entered into the event and history will show this to have been a very successful venture with both Audi Sport cars finishing 1 - 2. Red Line
Following on from the above Spark models is another Lemans 24 hour winner from Red Line Models. This is the 1961 Lemans Winner a Ferrari 250 TRI/61 driven by Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill. This car standout out as it is the last front engined car to win the 24 hour race at Lemans.

IXO Models
This weeks IXO release includes the set of twenty four 1:24 scale motorcycles. Ultimately intended to be a collection of 48 individual classic motorcycle models, this item (Part 1) consists of 24 models, as follows :

Next Weeks Releases
Next week Biante will release a selection of almost fifty different models from Minichamps. Minichamps have released the second edition of their 2007 Catalogue. this is a 24 page update featuring models from the categories of formula-one, German Touring Masters, Superbike / MotoGP Series and it shows various new road cars, too, in scale 1:18 and 1:43. Have a lot of fun while leafing through!
Other models of interest in next weeks Minichamps release include the 1975 Toyota Celica Fastback in Black. Product code 400 166472.
