Biante Collectors Club Newsletter - 6th December 2006
Website OrdersThere are only have five days left to place orders through the website before the ordering system is turned off for the Christmas break. Orders must be submitted no later than Sunday the 10th December 2006. Monday morning the ordering system will be disabled and no new orders will be accepted through the website. All other functions of the website will remain active including the Biante Forum.
If you currently have un-paid orders please ensure to make full payment for them as soon as possible. All orders NOT paid by Thursday 14th December will be cancelled.
The Diecast Magazine - Issue 1
Advance orders received for The Diecast Magazine - Issue 1 and 1:18 Diecast Downunder - Collectors Series 2, have now closed. Please ensure to make payment for your order if you have not done so already. Delivery is expected on Monday or Tuesday next week. All paid orders will be mailed out as soon as they arrive.
Western Australia Daylight Savings
Daylight savings is now in effect in Western Australia. Customers of the Biante website will need to allow for the adjustments in time for future releases. Daylight savings will run until March 2007. The time difference for Victoria and New South Wales and Tasmania will be two hours, ie 2pm Perth time will be 4pm in Sydney and Melbourne.

PORSCHE 956 - Brock / Perkins - LeMANS 24hr (1984)
Biante have managed to complete the revised Brochure incorporating the Peter Brock Foundation Logo. Unfortunately with only one week left until we close for Christmas this model will not be released prior to Christmas, this model will be released after we return. A confirmed date for release will be announced in the first newsletter back after Christmas. Product Code 183 846934.
New Model Showroom
A new model has been added to the 'New Model Showroom'. This model is a Russian tank being produced by Minichamps. The model is a PANZERKAMPFWAGEN T-72A/M1 'RUSSIA' 1978 Tank in 1:35 scale. Biante Historic Touring Cars
This weekend as well as being the final round for the 2006 V8 Supercar Series will also be the final round of the 2006 Biante Historic Touring Car Series Championship. Paul Stubber has already won the 2006 Championship at the completion of the last round. We invite as many collectors as possible to come along to Phillip Island this weekend. This is your last chance to see the fantastic Historic Touring Cars for the last time in 2006. Richard Poole and Bev Young will be at the event so if you see them don't forget to say hello.
Biante would also like to wish Rick Kelly good luck in this weekends round and hopefully we will see Rick as the 2006 V8 Supercar Champion.

This week Biante will be releasing six new models spread over three different scales. These models are detailed below.

The above six models will become available as an Advance Order item through the Biante website at 2pm Perth time Wednesday 6th December 2006. The container shipment is yet to arrive and numbers for these items are limited. This will be the first release for all of these six models, however the website expects that a second general release will be made available in the New Year. If you are successful in securing an order through the website and select not to pay via credit card, you must then ensure to make payment straight away otherwise your order will not be sent before Christmas.
