We will also be releasing a small number of the 1973 Bathurst winning Moffat/Geoghegan XA GT Falcon. Stock is very limited for this item as almost all of the website allocation has been taken up by advance orders. We will begin to process all of the advance orders for this item shortly to ensure that as soon as the cars arrive we are able to pack the cars, label the boxes, and ship all of the models out. We hope to have all of the advance orders shipped by this coming Wednesday.
In previous newsletters we stated that we would be able to release the Ford XR8 Utility in Phantom prior to Christmas. Due to the tight time frame and the number of models we have to ship next week this item is being held back until after Christmas.
New Autoart Shipment.
A shipment of Autoart models is also incoming. The Long awaited Bugatti Veyron and Chiron items are absolutely superb replicas of one of the most extreme supercars ever considered for use on 'this side of the armco'.
Some of the incoming items are:
Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron (Frankfurt Motor Show Car) in 1:18 and 1:43 scales.
Bugatti Chiron in Blue in 1:43 scale.
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII road car in red and white versions.
Two versions of the Nissan Skyline GTR from the Japanese GT Championship in 1:18 scale.
Porsche 911 GT3RS in white with red wheels and side logos in 1:18 scale.
Steve McQueen Porsche 917K in Gulf colours and Ford Mustang GT390 from the movie 'Bullitt'. Both in 1:18 scale.
These models will be available early next week. Keep watching the website latest news section for the announcement that these, and the remaining models, have arrived and are available.
Finishline Final Points.
The 2004 Finishline competition has been run and won. The fight wasn't as close as previous years and the top three placing's were taken out by:
1. Tyson Wellson 714 points
2. Leigh Clemow on 618 points
3. Steve Evans on 581 points.
Even after missing a few rounds Tyson kept his lead and actually would have won the competition even if he hadn't put his selections in for the Eastern Creek round. Congratulations to the top three place getters and also to all of the individual round winners through the year. Leigh and Steve, please contact us with your details and we will then organise to have your prizes sent out.
New Model Showroom.
We have recently added to the website New Model Showroom, pictures of the hand sample model which is the basis for our upcoming 1:18 scale HSV VS GTS-R . Just by looking at the hand sample it is easy to see that the VS HSV cars are going to be amongst the best models that Biante have produced.
As more pictures become available we will updated the showroom page to keep everyone up to date with the development of this model.
