Collectors Club Newsletter - 19 Feb 2004
1:18 1996 Bathurst winning VR Commodore.
The latest release in the ever growing Bathurst Winners Collection, the 1996 VR Commodore driven by Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy for the Holden Racing Team, will be available to order through the site on Friday the 27th of February at 2pm Perth time (GMT +8).
This beautiful new model has been upgraded with accurate dash set up, Gear shift mechanism, the wheels have been pushed out to fill the wheel arches and camber has been added to give the purposeful aggressive race stance.
Stock is very limited so be quick. As usual with high demand models this item is limited to 1 per customer.
Biante Headquarters Grand Opening.
Our brand new warehouse is receiving the finishing touches ready to be officially opened by the one and only Allan Moffat OBE at this weekends invitation only event.
It's not only the opening of the building that will be happening this weekend.With Rick Kelly as special guest on Saturday, over 100 store owners and special guests are flying in from all over Australia for a weekend of new model announcements, river cruises, and museum tours and a whole host of other events, it is going to be a full on weekend of model talk.
Upcoming Shipments.
In the coming weeks we are expecting shipments from all manufacturers so keep an eye on upcoming newsletters for more information as it becomes available.
2004 Models.
All of the recently announced 2004 range of models from all of our manufacturers are now listed on the site. There are a number of extremely desirable models in the pipeline, many of which have never been produced before in any scale so have a look.
That car (or bus, or motorcycle, or aeroplane) that you have longed for may be 'Production Planned'.
Don't forget to add any new models to your watchlist to be kept up to date with all events regarding stock of these items.
Collectors Club Details.
Please remember to keep your collectors club details up to date and current as we are having a lot of people e-mail us asking us to update their details for them. We cannot update your details from our end for privacy reasons so all you need to do is gointo the collectors club section and click on the 'Change Your Details' link.
Watchlist Editing
Please, once you have purchased etc any items on your watchlist, remove it from your list, otherwise it just clogs up the system for others.
This is a good feature, so please make it work effectively by deleting items once procured.
Biante Auctions
This will be the last week of the Biante Auction site. Due to various reasons, mostly I imagine lack of population and thereby lack of use, we have decided to close the site.
This was a very worthwhile addition to the model world in Australia, but we cannot keep huge resourses tied up if no one wants to use it.
