As a proud Australian Company, Biante Pty. Ltd., our licensing and manufacturing company, AGP Models Pty Ltd. and other associated companies, have had a fantastic 2003.

All our product lines have increased in volume for the year, with an ever growing variety and even higher detail, ensuring that our 8 exclusive product lines, Autoart, Minichamps, Ixo, Kyosho, Sunstar/Vitesse, Spark, Liberty Classics and Biante have all scaled new heights of desireability.

Our website has achieved sensational growth over the year and is currently being viewed by over 6 million people each month and increasing. The Discussion Forum has over 1000 members and provides a useful arena for dialog between collectors. It gets a bit fraught from time to time, but generally provides a useful service to all.

Our Dealer Exclusive site allows your store to have access to all our stock and forward order information and so keep you totally informed and up to date daily.

From modest beginnings in 1992, Biante has now progressed through the years from being located in a basement of 48 square meters, to the stage where we are now about to open our new 2500 square metre ( 26,900 square foot ) office warehouse complex in Belmont, West Australia.

All the achievements throughout the year have come as a result of a lot of hard work by our dedicated team and also our business partners, many of whom have been with us from the start.

Saddliers Sea Freight, Star Track Express (formerly Discount Freight Express), Australian Air Express, Worldwide Online Print, Ford Motor Company, Holden Limited and TWR Australia have all played a large part in another very successful year.

Our association with Australia’s leading race teams and drivers continued through 2003, with several worthy additions and our sponsorship of the top V8 Supercar teams continued, in some cases for the 5th year, and covering 18 cars.

We also added the Australian Historic Touring Car Series to our partner line up and what a great bunch of dedicated car people we can now call our friends and what sensational racing these cars provide for the fans.

We are pleased to have been able, on behalf of all our collectors, contribute to many worthwhile charities throughout the year and assist them to continue the fantastic and unselfish work that they provide to those who are ill orless fortunate than us.

Sadly, as is unfortunately the case, we also lost some very good friends this year, not only from motor racing circles but from all walks of life. Our thoughts will always be with them, their families and those of us they left behind.

But, life does go on and so to all Biante’s friends in this wonderful world of model cars, may we wish you a safe and happy Australia Day for 2004.HRT PRESS RELEASE

Holden Racing Team owner and multi championship winning racing car driver Mark Skaife has been awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in today's Australia Day awards.Skaife's OAM is for services to motor sport and the community.Skaife - who is currently on holidays overseas during the V8 Supercar "off" season, says the Order of Australia Medal award came as a complete surprise."When you see the list of well known Australians that have been awarded OAM's, it is a great honour to be part of that group and at the same time, a very humbling experience."When you start out on your chosen career path, you are just trying to establish yourself and attain some degree of success so, awards and recognition of this nature is the last thing on your mind!"It's a great accolade and I'm proud to think that what I've achieved career wise has allowed me to be in a position to put something back into the community - as we have with some of our charitable activities." Skaife said.Mark has been one of the most successful drivers in Australian domestic motor sport, with 5 Australian Touring Car/V8 Supercar championships since 1992, 4 victories at the annual Bathurst 1000 event and a number of other titles in various categories. In recent years he has been behind a successful charity golf day on the NSW Central Coast that has resulted in healthy contributions to hospitals in the area as well as supporting the Ronald McDonald House program in Newcastle and Sydney.Skaife is originally from Gosford on the NSW Central Coast and felt this was an ideal way to put something back into the community that assisted him when his career began.
