Minichamps have informed us of some exciting new product announcements.
The most anticipated of these are the Lewis Hamilton first win models from the Canadian Grand Prix. Minichamps will be producing the car in both 1:18 and 1:43 scale. These two models will be true to scale replicas with the new style front and rear wings used at the Canadian Grand Prix. See the related photo for the difference between the Canadian round and the Monaco Race.
Minichamps have announced the planned production of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS Rally car which was the class winner of the 2006 Gorden rally. Minichamps have also announced a second Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car run by Araxa Racing and driven by R. Westbrook. This item will be produced in 1:43 scale.
Soon to be released is Edition 2 of the 2007 Minichamps catalogue. This is a 24 page continuation of thane main catalogue. This features models from the categories of formula-one, German Touring Masters, Superbike / MotoGP Series and it shows various new road cars, too, in scale 1:18 and 1:43.
This years Assen Moto Grand Prix Valentino Rossi Yamaha YZR-M1 supported a different paint scheme not seen before. The design included the Italian national colours promoting the new Fiat 500. For any Valentino Rossi collector this will be a must have item.
Still with Moto GP two 1:12 scale Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade motorcycles have been announced by Minichamps. These two bikes were ridden by R. Rolfo and J. Toseland respectively.
