Kyosho 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO - 1:43 scale
Kyosho have announced they will be producing a Ferrari 250 GTO 1:43 scale model finished in red.
In the early 60’s, Ferrari produced a Supercar, the Ferrari 250 GTO. Only 39 were made between 1962 and 1964. Based on the Berlinetta body style, the 250 was fitted with a potent 3L V12. It is widely considered to be the quintessential Ferrari model, and one of the most famous sports cars of all time.
In 2004, Sports Car International named the 250 GTO within its list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s, and similarly, Motor Trend Classic named the 250 GTO as number one in their list of the "Greatest Ferraris of all time".
The price for legitimate high-demand Ferrari cars has steadily climbed since 2000 and the market value for a 250 GTO in late 2006 was rising steadily. Should one be lucky enough to purchase one of these rare cars, there wouldn’t now be much change left over from $10 million.
