Peter Brock's 1997 ATCC HRT VS Commodore (Round 8 Winner)
Barbagallo Raceway V8s 1997... it was the fairy-tale everyone was hoping for.
Having announced his V8 retirement in May, Peter Brock set off on an Australia wide farewell tour. By July, the Australian Touring Car Championship had reached Perth.
In this, effectively his 207th championship start, Brock qualified 4th and - with podium results in all three heat races - went on to win the Round, being his 37th and final Round win in ATCC competition.
This 1:18 scale piece represents that victorious car, the 1997 season Holden Racing Team '05' VS Commodore. When released, each limited edition model will come with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
