The following is a cronological list of manufactured Biante brand models of Australian-made road cars and Australian-series race cars - it covers all scales beginning with our original 1998 release of the 1:18 scale 'Track Red' Ford XY Falcon GTHO.

We have had a few reports of collectors being duped with supposed limited-run body colour Biante models. This list should assist collectors to avoid such Biante fakes.

July 1998 :
#22721 - 1:18 Ford XY Falcon GTHO - Track Red - 5,000 pcs in window box.
All of these models have external mirrors on both front doors.
This is the first ever 1:18 scale diecast model of an Australian car.

August 1998 :
#22722 - 1:18 Ford XY Falcon GTHO - Ultra White - 900 pcs in window box.
This is the "First Run" advance model in Ultra White, produced for Distributors & Corporate customers only - it was NOT available for general public purchase.
Each Certificate of Authenticity is personally signed by Biante's principal director, Trevor Young.
This model features the five-spoke Globe alloy road wheels.
Some of these models have external mirrors on the driver's door only, and others have mirrors on both front doors - the build quantities of each variation are not recorded.

September 1998 :
#22722 - 1:18 Ford XY Falcon GTHO - Ultra White - 4,500 pcs in window box.
This model features the five-spoke Globe alloy road wheels.
All of these general release models have an external mirror on the driver's door only.
This model's Certificate of Authenticity states the body colour incorrectly as 'Track White'.

October 1998 :
#37181 - 1:18 Ford XY Falcon GTHO - Brambles Red - #65E 1971 Bathurst Winner - Allan Moffat - 6,000 pcs in window box.
This model has an external mirror on the driver's door only.
The radio aerial was not up during the race so only the chrome base is modelled.
Each Certificate of Authenticity is personally signed by Allan Moffat.
This model was produced prior to introduction of the official Biante "Allan Moffat Collection".

December 1998 :

This model features white interior trim.

We have had a few reports of collectors being duped with supposed limited-run body colour Biante models. This list should assist collectors to avoid such Biante fakes.

The following is a cronological list of manufactured Biante brand models of Australian-made road cars and Australian-series race cars - it covers all scales beginning with our original 1998 release of the 1:18 scale 'Track Red' Ford XY Falcon GTHO.

We have had a few reports of collectors being duped with supposed limited-run body colour Biante models. This list should assist collectors to avoid such Biante fakes.

The following is a cronological list of manufactured Biante brand models of Australian-made road cars and Australian-series race cars - it covers all scales beginning with our original 1998 release of the 1:18 scale 'Track Red' Ford XY Falcon GTHO.

We have had a few reports of collectors being duped with supposed limited-run body colour Biante models. This list should assist collectors to avoid such Biante fakes.

You might also consider purchasing our CD digest (product # CDBIA04) which features all Biante models - with photo images of models and certificates & brochures where applicable - for the period 1998 to end 2004.

Peter Brock announced his race-driving retirement in 1997, but found that he couldn't resist the lure of motorsport. He returned to race in the Bathurst 1000 in 2002 and 2004 and won the 24 hour event held at Mt Panorama in 2003. He died whilst competing in the Targa West Rally here in Perth Western Australia in September 2006 and will be sadly missed by all.
