1What are the postage rates? Top

Below is a break down of our normal postage rates. Some items may incur special postage rates but these will normally be detailed on the product information page to the said item.

Australia / Domestic

$8.00 for one 1:18 scale item
$14.00 for two or more 1:18 scale items

$8.00 for 1 - 12 1:64 scale items
$14.00 for 12 or more 1:64 scale items

$8.00 for one (1) 1:43 scale item
$14.00 for two (2) or more 1:43 scale items

International

$30.00 AUD for one item in any scale or $40.00 AUD for two (2) or more, sent by air mail with insurance.
Overseas orders in scales 1:18 or larger have an extra charge of $10.00 AUD per item.

Also for every set of four or part there of the shipping cost will add $10.00 to the shipping cost.

All parcels are registered and insured and must be signed for when delivered. Never will an instruction to leave the parcel unsigned for at a location be passed onto the postage company used.

Other Rates

If shipping costs exceed the amount stipulated on your invoice you will be contacted via email and informed of this. Large items may inccur higher shipping rates and unless stated on the checkout process / invoice you will also be contacted first with an updated invoice.

2How can I save on postage? Top

Saving money on postage is easy. Instead of placing an order for each item you add ALL the items you wish to order into your cart. Once you have all the items you wish to order in your cart then proceed to submit your order. This allows us to better process your order by only having to calculate postage costs once.

If you place multiple orders on the same day within a short period of time your orders will not be combined.

You are asked to please place all models into your cart first then proceed through the ordering system. Not doing so may inccur multiple shipping costs.

4Do Biante send orders overseas? Top

Yes Biante will send to almost anywhere in the world except Indonesia.

Due to new restrictions by Australia Post postage to Canada and Germany will require a quote to be obtained for any orders to the above destinations. You will be notified of this amount and acceptance will need to be confirmed before these orders can continue.

However first time buyers from our online store may be asked to make their first payment through Western Union.

If this is requested you will receive an email such as the one below.

As a first time international buyer, we will have to request payment by either international money order made out in Australian dollars or a Western Union (see their website for more details www.westernunion.com) money transfer or Direct Bank Deposit. This is a credit setup procedure introduced to prevent fraudulent orders. Please do not take it as anything against you, as it certainly isn't meant to. On completion of your first order, all future orders can be made by credit card.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Please have the payment made to Biante Website If needed Company Biante Pty Ltd at the following address:

5How do I know what freight I have to pay? Top
Go to Find a Model and the first item in "Browse by Category" is 'Postage/Freight'. Click on that for a brief description of charges.

Also when you order a model there are 4 steps and as you select where you are from on step 1, ie Australia or Overseas, when you click "Proceed to step 2", the freight is calculated for you.

Rest assured, we have sought out the most efficient, reliable and economical methods available.

As we have only 2 levels of charges to keep it simple, when the cost is a lot less, we will adjust it down manually at time of despatch.

If it is more, we will not increase the cost above what is shown on your order.
6Can you ship to my country? Top

If Biante are unable to send products insured to you via air mail we will first contact you with a quote of what it will cost to send goods to you via ECI.

Please review the URL below to ensure we can send insured parcles to you via Air Mail.
