2Is there anything I can do to make sending and receiving emails easier ? Top
There are several things.

* Check that you always use your EXACT email address. It is like your home address...if you give it out incorrectly, no-one can get back in contact with you.

* Set your browser to check mail every couple of minutes. Some people have it set for days between downloads and wonder why they don't get any mail.

To do this, go to 'TOOLS' at the top of the page, select 'OPTIONS' and then on the General page you will see a box marked 'Check for messages every.... mins' Select 2, click 'Apply' and 'OK' and now you will be able to send and recieve messages at a maximum of 2 minutes apart.

Be aware that some browsers will not allow you to do this.
3Whats the best way to keep all my emails in a place I can easily find them? Top

Make yourself some folders. Its easy.
Go to "File" at the top of the email page. Click on it and put the pointer on 'Folders" and "NEW" will pop out the side. Click on NEW.
Type in the box the name you want for the folder ie PASSWORDS. Before you press OK, go down to Local Folder and click on it and then OK.

Now out the left hand column of the page, you will find your new folder in alphabetical order.

To get messages into the folder, click on the message and hold the button on the mouse down. Move the mouse so that the message moves over the folder and let go the button.

Now everytime you forget your passwords, go to the folder and open it to see them all.

Some systems will not allow this, but most do.

4How can I list my favourite pages for easy viewing? Top

When you find a wesite or page that you like , you can keep track of them so they are easy to find in the future .

Add a web page to your favourites list by clicking on FAVOURITES and then ADD TO FAVOURITES. Then next time you want to find that site you can click on it in your favourites list and go straight there.

If you have a favourite site that you go to most ( hopefully the Biante Model Cars site ) you can make it your home page so that it is displayed everytime you start Internet Explorer or click on the HOME button on the toolbar.

To do this go to TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS you can then add the website address you want and then Press SET TO DEFAULT, APPLY and OK.

Many Internet sites are set up to prevent unauthorised people from seeing the infomation. When you visit a website that is secure Internet Explorer will display a lock icon on the status bar. ( Biante Model Cars is a secure site) If you are about to send information such as your credit card number to an unsecure site, Internet Explorer can warn you that the site is not secure . If a site claims to be secure but its credentials are suspect, Internet Explorer can warn you that the site may have been tampered with.
7How do I quickly find a model I am after? Top

Here we need to be on 'Find a Model".

The quickest way is to know the product number. For this you will need the manufacturers catalogue, which you can buy on the site.

Or, you can enter a 'Keyword(s)' but be specific. If you are after a Ford Capri, do not just enter Ford, or you will get a list of hundreds of Fords. Enter Ford Capri and to make it more specific, you can enter a scale.

Warning..if you enter a scale that is not available, you will get a zero response. In other words, DO NOT put into keywords anything you don't know.

Or, if you know who makes it, you can just select the relevant manufacturers box. This will show ALL models made by that manufacturer, not just Ford Capri models.

Or finally, you can click the category, in this case 'Road Cars' but once again that will bring up ALL manufactures total availablity of road cars.

Best way is to work out your own system that suits you. All the cars are easily accessible, and 'Quick Search" is probably the quickest.

8I am only interested in Australian cars. How do I find them? Top

Simple. Just type 'Australian' in the keyword box and then click Search or Go.

9How do I find the information that I want ? Top

* Click the SEARCH button on the toolbar to gain access to a number of search providers. Type a word or phrase in the SEARCH box.

* Type GO,FIND or ? followed by a word or phrase in the address bar. Internet Explorer starts a search using its predetermined search provider.

* After you go to a Web page, you can search for specific text on that page by clicking the EDIT menu and then clicking FIND ( on this page).
